It has been over 20 years since the first National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC), and what a journey it has been! Thousands of athletes have come through the program, with many moving on to bigger opportunities on and off the ice, while the event continues to celebrate cultural pride, reconciliation, and unity among Indigenous peoples across the country.
As we look ahead to the next 10 years, we want to hear from you. Whether you are a past or current athlete, coach, family member, team or tournament volunteer, or community supporter, your input will directly shape the future of the NAHC.
Just four short questions! Answer briefly or in as much detail as you like — feel free to skip any question you'd prefer not to answer.
This review is being led by the Aboriginal Sport Circle with support from the Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC). All responses will be aggregated, meaning your individual answers will never be identified or attributed to you personally — only combined themes and insights from all respondents will be reported.
