The University of Ottawa is excited to welcome students to the upcoming 2026 Cyber Bootcamp, offering hands-on training in cutting-edge areas of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, leading to professional certification. Participants will also be immersed in Canadian culture in the heart of the nation’s capital, downtown Ottawa.
The program includes:
on-campus accommodation, campus-wide Wi-Fi, university health insurance (UHIP), a pizza night, cultural outings, certificates of completion, access to the Fortinet lab and training materials, access to the uOttawa-IBM Cyber Range, as well as administrative fees.
After you register, we will review your file and send you the program fee information along with a secure link to make your payment by Visa or MasterCard. Please note that this review process may take up to five business days.
Additionally, once we have processed your application, we will send you an official invitation letter along with detailed instructions on how to apply for a Canadian visa.
Finally, please note that students are required to bring their own laptops for the Cyber Bootcamp, as they are essential for participating in the training sessions.
If your visa is denied after June 1, you will receive a 50% refund of total program fee upon submitting proof of denial.
In the event that the number of registrants does not reach the required minimum, please note that the program could be cancelled. In this case, we will inform all applicants by May 1, and all deposits will be refunded minus.
