About this survey
This survey explores how civil society organizations create belonging and drive both social and economic change in the Capital Regional District. Building on our 2018 study, we aim to understand your organization's impact through multiple lenses - from fostering inclusion and building trust, to creating economic opportunities and ensuring equitable access for all.

Your input matters!
Civil society full impact often goes unmeasured or is oversimplified. Your responses will help up demonstrate the sector’s vital role creating belonging and economic vitality and build a stronger case for sustainable funding.

Thank you for contributing to this important work in measuring and strengthening our sector's impact.
This study takes place on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) peoples, known today as the Songhees and Xʷsepsəm/Esquimalt Nations, and the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, whose historical relationships with these lands and waters continue to this day. As we study community impact and belonging in our region, we acknowledge our work takes place within the context of BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA). Civil society organizations play a vital role in supporting reconciliation and cultural revitalization through relationship-building, cultural programs, and collaborative initiatives. Through this study, we also seek to better understand and articulate these contributions, while exploring how increased investment in the sector could further strengthen this important work.

*Civil Society includes non-profit organizations and institutions; they are separate from government and business. For our study, we invite registered charitable organizations to participate.
